Motorized Liquid and Plastic Limit Test GLAL-02

The liquid limit and plastic limit tests provide information regarding the effect of water content (w) on the mechanical properties of soil. Specifically, the effects of water content on volume change and soil consistency are addressed. The results of this test are used to classify soil in accordance with ASTM D2487, and to estimate the swell potential of soil. Includes all apparatus recommended to perform liquid limit and plastic limit test in accordance with specifications.
